Design Description of Our Garden Houses

Construction-Kit Round Log

Exterior and partition walls with 11 cm or 16 cm ø, made of domestic, winter-felled pruce trunks with small annual rings

(air-dried 1- 2 years and if necessary additionally dried in a drying room).

Log thickness on request, either 11 cm, 16 cm, 21 cm or 25 cm; provided with our patented longitudinal and corner connection. All drillings for threaded rods are included.

Floor

Consists of a base frame made of mortised square timber with dovetail connection, boiler-pressure impregnated or natural
and tongue-and-groove floor boards 24 mm thick.

The porch floor is made of larch boards with a thickness of 25 mm.

Roof Truss

Saddle roof approx. 16-18 ° roof pitch or according to your specifications, very sturdy truss with tight rafter spacing for high snow loads. Ridge and intermediate timbers made of dried roundwood are neatly worked into the walls. The rafters are made of square timber.

Roof

It consists of a roof boarding made of 19 mm tongue-and-groove boards, double wind boards, one layer of roofing felt and 1 layer of bitumen shingles.

Gutters

In principle, stylish, boiler-pressure impregnated wooden gutters with a diameter of 11 or 13 cm are used. The mounts consist of hand-forged galvanized hooks.

Doors

As in every PERR Log House, also the round log garden houses are equipped with high-quality carpentered spruce doors, which are planked on both sides and which include stable lining and panels. On request, the front door can be supplied with a small window.

Windows

The windows are carpentered of spruce wood in a high quality manner. They are equipped with double insulating glazing (UG 3.0) and folding shutters made of spruce, including stable lining and panels.

Sub-floor boards, boiler-perssure impregnated or natural; foil, Perlite insulation fill.

Roof

A compensation waler (for the canopy area), air and roof laths, boiler-pressure impregnated or natural; on- roof insulation hardfoam panels, sealing tapes on the corner and longitudinal connections, sealing tapes for windows and doors.
