Enjoy the comfort, an outside log house sauna has to offer: relax and lean back in the cosy warmth, strengthen your cardiovascular-system and help your body to detoxify. And the best thing: you may do that in your own garden!

Due to the good insulation properties of our block planks, no additional
wall insulation is required. This enables an optimal air exchange, without impairment
by vapour control layers or insulating layers.

Your Garden Sauna Will Be Created Individually

According to your individual desires, we plan, manufacture and assemble your log house garden sauna in the size you wish. Depending on the desired size and the customer request we use different log thicknesses. The walls of our round log houses can vary in thickness from 11 cm to 16 cm to 21 cm up to 25 cm. We use exclusively air-dried round logs with a tongue-and-groove connection. Additional sealing tapes ensure optimal air tightness and thermal insulation.

Soil and roof are insulated with biological insulations.

In our carpentry we manufacture the matching laudes ot of aspen wood, which is hardly heat conducting and free of resin and splinters. We also supply sauna doors in any desired design and size.

Design Description of Our Sauna Houses

Construction-Kit Round Log

Exterior and partition walls made of domestic, winter-felled pruce trunks with small annual rings (air-dried at least for 1 year, if necessary additionally dried in a drying room). Log thickness on request, either 11 cm, 16 cm, 21 cm or 25 cm; provided with our patented longitudinal and corner connection. All drillings for threaded rods as well as the required sealing tapes for longitudinal and corner connections are included.

Floor

Consists of a base frame made of mortised square timber with dovetail connection, boiler-pressure impregnated or natural.
A sub-floor
with sub-floor paper or foil between the beams, a Perlite insulation fill, approximately 11 cm high; tongue-and-groove floor boards 24 mm thick and if requested screed and tiles on site in the shower.
The porch floor
is made of larch boards, 25 mm thick.

Roof Truss

Saddle roof approx. 16-18 ° roof pitch or according to your specifications, very sturdy truss with tight rafter spacing for high snow loads. Ridge, rafters, as well as their intermediate timbers are neatly worked into the walls, including the required sealing tapes. Ridge and intermediate timbers are made of dried roundwood, whereas the rafters are made of square timber. If requested, the rafters can also made of round logs (surcharge).

Roof

It consists of a roof boarding made of 19 mm tongue-and-groove boards, including the required sealing tapes; 1 layer of roofing membrane, a on-roof insulation made of hard foam insulation boards, a compensation waler (for the canopy area), air and roof laths, boiler-pressure impregnated or natural; verge boards and fascia boards, clay roof tiles including verge and ridge tile in natural red or anthracite.

Gutters

We use a wooden gutter with 13 or 16 cm Ø that is boiler-pressure impregnated. Hand-forged galvanized hooks are included.

Doors

For our garden saunas in block construction we use high-quality carpentered spruce doors; the doors are planked on both sides. Stable lining and panels as well as sealing tapes are included. On request, the front door can be equipped with a small window (surcharge).

Windows

High-quality carpentered spruce windows with double safety glass (UG 1.1) and crossbars as well as folding shutters made of spruce, incl. stable lining and panels as well as the required sealing tapes.
